that will go through the process of Ken Feinberg and to ensure that it’s consistent with his principles. And obviously the board wants to find a CEO that’s knowledgeable about insurance companies and running an insurance company and hopefully getting an ailing company that was once a successful insurance company that somebody had the bright idea of putting a hedge fund on top of — The Press: But AIG is the company that is 80-percent owned by taxpayers, taxpayers who make $30000 and $40000 …

14:25-14:53 Isn’t that what the private sector does & would do better anyway (competition, cost reductions) if only Congress would allow for more of this by allowing insurance company’s to sell across state lines? There are a multitude of options available to reduce costs & provide quality coverage, & expansion of coverage to most Americans (Citizens, at that) that would cost little to nothing to implement, if only Congress would take these issues up one by one.

Continued outrageous deficit spending (another trillion dollars) and 2,000 more pages of govt. bureuacracy is not the answer. Don’t we know that 43% of every dollar Congress spends right now is borrowed money (from non-allied, still Communist China of all nations)? Even China (our bank) is telling us, no more spending!

I defintely agree with WinterHaven’s remarks about prevention being the key. We can see a trend in the markets and lifetstyles leaning more towards a healthier choice, but thats still far below what is needed. If people even execrised 1 hour a day and ate a little better than that alone would be a remarkable cost savings. Excellent point, and lets hope programs will be put in place to entice people to become healthier.
