TSCPA Group 10-year Term Life Insurance Plan – good deal?

I just received an offer from the TSCPA (I am a newly licensed CPA) for the double-lock guarantee 10-year level term life insurance plan. I currently have no other life insurance and my husband has a minor one through his work. Does anyone know anything about this plan and whether it’s as good a deal as it sounds?

It sounds fine. But a group policy usually cancels if you leave your job. I would find an individual level term life insurance policy with level payments for 30 years.

    Call around for some quotes.
